From East Africa.

The world's biggest millipede is the Giant African Millipede (Archispirostreptus gigas), with some reaching up to 38 centimetres (15 in) in length.

Luckily, this is a peaceful and gentle giant. They do release defensive chemicals from pores along their body though, so make sure to wash your hands if you touch them. Also, don't eat them. Make them a sandwich, instead.
