Smallest chameleon.

From Nosy Be, a small island off Madagascar

The smallest chameleon is probably Brookesia minima. It has many common names, all of which involve words like "dwarf", "pygmy" and "tiny", as well as "chameleon". You can pretty much put them together and make up your own name! Females reach 3.4 cm (1.3 in) in length, males slightly smaller.

They live on the ground rather than in the trees. Good job too, I can't think of too many branches they could get those tiny toes around!

  2. I know how you feel! They look just about impossible to find, though.
